Virtual Met

Virtual Met

We integrated physical and digital elements to craft a distinctive experience that immerses users in the heart of The Met. By leveraging webAR technology and immersive 360-degree environments, we meticulously recreated iconic spaces within the museum at scale, enabling users to freely explore and engage with the art. This innovative experience, a fusion of augmented reality, gaming, and virtual tours, included educational challenges and mini-games, developed in collaboration with The Met's staff.

Taking the art home

Taking the art home

Qualified participants had the opportunity to become "art loaners," unlocking digital versions of artworks that they could display in their own spaces. Additionally, Verizon 5G Ultra Wideband users enjoyed exclusive features, optimized for high-speed network performance, providing an even more immersive dive into the world of art.

Unique exhibition

Unique exhibition

In addition to recreating iconic Met spaces, we curated a unique digital-only art exhibition, showcasing a collection of exclusive pieces that could only be experienced through our platform. This exhibition featured cutting-edge digital art created specifically for this initiative, offering viewers a fresh and contemporary perspective on the art world. To further enhance the experience, we brought select paintings to life using augmented reality, allowing users to witness dynamic animations and interactive elements that added depth and narrative to the traditional artwork.
